Hear Art Here is a new digital space for an audio experience of visual art.

We are exhibiting emerging and established artists over social media and in person audio conferences. We strive to create a positive experience for those with any level of vision, and a new curatorial experience for each artist with work being displayed.

Each week a new work will be selected and further developed by the curator and translator, adding it to the auditory collection and exhibiting it to the public.

We aim to extend the experience of an auditory translation of visual art to new members of the artistic community. We will be further developing our Hear Art Here practices over time.

We will be taking feedback from all visitors to our gallery and encourage participation by any digital observer or caller.

Listeners with vision aim to immediately check how accurately they have ‘pictured’ the art they have been listening to. This is a chance for them to experience visual art solely from the auditory perspective.
